Obituary for Valverde

Larry J. Valverde, age 50, passed away in Raton, New Mexico on January 31, 1999. He was a resident of Cimarron, NM and he was born in Las Vegas, NM on April 13, 1948, the son of Patricio Jr. and Tomasita (Trujillo) Valverde. Larry is survived by one daughter, Margaret L. Valverde of Cimarron, NM; one son, Joseph A. Valverde-Baca of Albuquerque; one sister, Loretta A. Sandoval and her husband, Matthew of Las Vegas, NM; one niece, Melissa Sandoval; one nephew, Marcos Sandoval, both of Las Vegas, NM; a special cousin, Anthony Fratzola Jr.; numerous uncles, aunts and cousins; and a special friend, Patricia Gruver. Larry was a life member of the DAV Chapter 3 in Albuquerque. He was a graduate of Menaul High School in Albuquerque in 1966. He received his Associates degree, Bachelors degree and his Masters degree in Industrial Technology from the Highlands University in Las Vegas, NM. The viewing will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The funeral will be held Thursday, February 4, 1999, 10:00 a.m., at the Errington Memorial Chapel. Father John Wilbur will officiate. Interment will follow in Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. with full military honors. The arrangements for Larry J. Valverde are under the direction of the Errington Memorial Chapel.
