Alan Dale Douglas, age 86, of Albuquerque, died Monday, January 4, 1999 in Albuquerque. He was born July 1, 1912 in Aneroid, Saskatchewan, Canada. He married Anna Loch on March 27, 1943 at Deming, NM. Mr. Douglas operated Dale Douglas Advertising Company in Albuquerque for many years. He was a Master in Fencing and taught fencing in Albuquerque. He is survived by his loving wife, Anna Loch Douglas of Albuquerque; two daughters, Debbie Sjodin and husband, Bob of Seattle, WA, and Daryl Black and husband, Fred of Santa Fe. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, January 8, 1999 at Santa Fe National Cemetery. His family has requested memorial contributions be directed to the United Parkinsons Foundation, 220 South State Street, Chicago, IL 60600, or to the UNM Athletic Dept. for fencing at the Johnson Center, Rm. 1102, Albuquerque, NM 87131.
