Mr. Eddie G. Vigil, 74, born May 17, 1924 in Las Vegas, NM, passed away on January 26, 1999 in Tucson, AZ. Mr. Vigil was a resident of Albuquerque for 53 years before moving to Tucson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Vigil. He is survived by his son, William and wife, Yvonne (Sanchez) of Tucson, AZ; his grandchildren, Michael Vigil of Longmont, CO, Vincent Vigil, Richard Vigil and Milissa Vigil of Tucson, AZ; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Erlinda Martinez of Citrus Heights, CA and Maria De Frenes and her husband, Jack of West Chester, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Vigil was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Friday evening, 7:00 p.m., at the Ascension Catholic Church, 2150 Raymac SW, with visitation at the church after 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday morning, 10:00 a.m., at the Ascension Church with final viewing at the church after 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Pajarito Cemetery.
