Christopher Lovato, 16, a lifelong resident of Bernalillo, died Wednesday, May 19, 1999. He is survived by his father, Chris Lovato of Bernalillo, NM; his mother, Delfinia Lopez and her husband, Anibal of Indiana; brother, Robert Gutierrez of Nevada; sister, Savannah M. Lovato of Algodones, NM; grandmother, Lucy M. Valencia of Bernalillo, NM; grandfather, Agapitio Valencia of Placitas, NM; girlfriend, Mara Gurule of Placitas, NM; many aunts, uncles, and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Josefita Lovato and Crespin Lovato. Christopher was a sophomore at Bernalillo High School and was employed by Sandoval County Senior Center. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM. Mass will be celebrated Monday, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Garcia, Joey Oharra, Lawrence Montoya, Phillip Aragon, Josh Gutierrez, and Cory Parks. Visitation will be Sunday, 6:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
