Mary Rose Trujillo, 61, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 1999 at her home in Socorro, NM. She was born November 8, 1937 to Carlos and Altagracia Gonzales Padilla in San Pedro, NM. She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Emena Montoya; brother, Alex Padilla and her son, baby boy Trujillo. She is survived by her husband, Ernest C. Trujillo of the home; son, Carlos Trujillo and wife, Carleen of Bakersfield, CA; daughters, Roberta Padilla y Trujillo of Bosque Farms, NM and Rachel I. Martin and husband, Clay of Poladera, NM; brothers, Nestor Padilla and Santiago Padilla, both of San Antonio, NM; sisters, Josie Mueller and Albina Montoya, both of Los Lunas, NM, Estella Ulibarri of Socorro, NM; grandchildren, Twila Trujillo, Tycee Padilla, Steven Padilla, Melanie Padilla, Jerid Trujillo, Michael Trujillo, Alex Trujillo, Mary Martin and Zackary Martin; her special friend, Annette Saiz of Socorro and numerous nieces and nephews. Rosary will be recited Friday, May 21, at 7:30 PM at San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 22, at 10:00 AM at San Miguel with Father Bill Sanchez as Celebrant. Interment will be in the San Pedro Cemetery. Pallbearers are, Clay Martin, Steven Padilla, Jonathan Abeita, Roger Ulibarri, Archie Montoya and Leroy Montoya. Honorary Pallbearers are, Jerid Trujillo, Michael Trujillo, Alex Trujillo and Zackary Martin. Arrangements by Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, Socorro, New Mexico. A reception will be held at the Socorro Senior Citizen Center immediately following the services.
