Obituary for Armijo

Susanita (Susie) Armijo, 82, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord on May 20, 1999, after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Juan Armijo; one son, Pete H. Armijo; and a grandson, Raymond Lovato Jr. She is survived by one son, Antonio M. Armijo and wife, Vickie of Salt Flats, TX; five daughters, Ramona M. Armijo of Albuquerque, Amelia M. Roybal and husband, Peto of Maywood, CA, Carolina M. Martinez of Albuquerque, Gloria Lovato and husband, Raymond of Freemont, CA, and Lupe F. Armijo of Hendreson Nevada; one daughter-in-law, Laura Armijo of Bell, CA; one brother and sister-in-law, Juanito and Faustina Ramirez of Dolores, CO; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary, 8th and Stover. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, 10:00 a.m., at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Conrado Armijo, Carlos Bernal, Paul Gonzales, Sgt. Jaun Lovato, Che Romero, and Michael Schaus. Funeral services are under the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover.
