Joanna Nicholas Nellos, 87, a resident of Albuquerque for 40 years, died Sunday, May 9, 1999. She is survived by her four sons, George Ernie, Constantine, and Basil; grandchildren, Nicholas George, Robert, Nicholas Basil, Nicholas Constantine, John Constantine, Joanna Constantine, Anastasia Nicol, and Efstratios; and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Nellos was born in 1911 in Mitilini, Greece. Her beloved husband, Nicholas George Nellos, born in Pyrgos, Greece, preceded her in death in 1959. Services will be held Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church, 308 High Street SE, with Father Mario Giannopoulos officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park.
