Josephine R. Guarino, 74, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 12 1/2 years, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 1999. Josephine was born November 7, 1924, the daughter of Tiburcio and Maria Martinez Reyes in Manhattan, New York. Josephine had been a secretary for a pharmaceutical company and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in November of 1998. Josephine is survived by her son, John Guarino of Rio Rancho; daughter, Jeanne Dvorak of Edgewood, NM; one sister, Mary Padilla of Cocoa Beach, FL; and three grandchildren, Michael, Thomas and Timothy. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 9, 1999, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with a Memorial service at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd., at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, with The Rev.
