Obituary for Sandoval

Mr. Joe Sandoval Jr., 71, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on March 29, 1999. Mr. Sandoval was the beloved husband of 46 years to Mrs. Martha Sandoval. He is also survived by his daughter, Sandra Armenta and husband, Robert; five sons, Randy Sandoval and wife, Kay, Rick Sandoval and wife, Verna, Mike Sandoval and wife, Jane, Ed Sandoval and fiancee, Liz and Ted Sandoval and wife, Geri; three sisters, Corrine Zamora, Linda Sanchez and husband, Jesse, and Mary Jaramillo; sister-in-law, Rose Sandoval; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Sandoval was preceded in death by his brother, Ernest Sandoval. Mr. Sandoval was a member of the Catholic Church, Veteran of U.S. Army, serving in the Korean War, member of the American Legion Post 99, and a life member of Aflcio. Visitation will be Wednesday evening after 6:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW, with a Rosary to be recited 6:30 p.m. Deacon Tibo Chavez reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday evening, following the Rosary. Father Thomas Mayefske, Celebrant. A graveside service will be Thursday morning, 10:00 a.m., at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Kreamer, Johnny Mirabal, Stan Mirabal, Leroy Maldonado, Mike Aragon and David Nunez. Honorary will be Gilbert Jaramillo and Nestor Garcia. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
