Yvonne O'Malley, 71, a resident of Albuquerque since 1941, died Sunday, March 21, 1999. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Laurie; son, Mike O'Malley and wife, Debra; and grandchildren, Sean Laurie, April O'Malley and Kristy O'Malley, all of Albuquerque. Mrs. O'Malley was a member of Chi Omega Sorority at UNM and graduated in 1950. She taught in the Bernalillo Public Schools for 23 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Albuquerque. She was a water-color artist and enjoyed playing golf. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church Chapel, 215 Locust NE, with Rev. Myron White officiating. A reception will follow the services. Interment of cremains will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Denver, CO.
