Obituary for Mitchell

Annie Pearl Mitchell, born March 18, 1930 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away March 21, 1999. Annie received the gift of the Holy Spirit at the age of 21. She and Sis. Selico then began a great street and outreach ministry, which continued for several decades. She had been a longtime member of God's House Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earlie and Mary Seals; and her siblings. She is survived by her husband, Risdon Mitchell, whom she married in May 1950; four daughters, Carlotta, Joby Wallace and husband, Ronnie, Mary Carr and husband, Dwyane, and Sherril Godbolt and husband, William, all of Albuquerque; four sons, Eural, Lawrence and wife, Earnestine, Isaac and wife, Kathy, and Donald, all of Albuquerque; her 14 grandchildren, whom she loved dearly and will always remember what a great woman of God their Grandma was; and uncle, Daniel Lindsey. Annie also leaves, in cherished memories, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of"adopted" sons and daughters, and friends. Funeral services for Annie will be held Friday, March 26, 1999, 11:00 a.m., at God's House Church, 2335 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Bishop Michael Shelby officiating. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Paseo del Norte and Wyoming NE.
