Virginia Luchini Sullivan, a resident of Albuquerque for 37 years, passed away at her home surrounded by her family, Wednesday, April 21, 1999. She is survived by her sons, Henry Sullivan and his partner, Milt Alter of Sarasota, FL and Dwight Sullivan and wife, Betty of San Antonio, TX; daughters, Mary Coon and husband, Robert of Las Cruces, NM, Geralyn McNaughton and husband, Mac of Oak Harbor, WA, Judy Tresise and husband, Richard of Bosque Farms, NM; sons, Gary Sullivan and wife, Sharalynn and Francis Sullivan and wife, Julie, all of Albuquerque; daughter, Donna Newkirk and husband, Thomas of Edgewood, NM; sons, David Sullivan and wife, Cindy of Albuquerque and Stephen Sullivan and wife, Susan of Houston, TX; daughter, Michelle Chavez and husband, Abel of Albuquerque; 17 grandchildren, Steve Sullivan, Michelle Chavez, Stefani Sullivan, Dwight D. Sullivan, Ronnie Sullivan, Sasha Sullivan, Brian Coon, Justin Coon, Rebecca Skinner, Christie McNaughton, Darla Tresise-Barrett, Sean Tresise, Sandra Sullivan, Shannon Sullivan, Evan Ritchey, Geoffrey Newkirk, David Sullivan, Jr., Sarah Sullivan, and Amanda Sullivan; seven great-grandchildren, Adrian Chavez, Ashley Chavez, Ileah Zavala, Lauren Sullivan, Patrick Sullivan, and Baby Coon; brother, Ray Luchini and wife, Corrine and Leo Luchini and wife, Annie, all of Las Cruces, NM, and Jim Luchini and wife, Pauline of Rodey, NM; and sisters, Helen Vigil and husband, Raymond of Stockton, CA and Carrie Norero and husband, Mike of Albuquerque. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alex Sullivan, May 3, 1995; children, Ronnie Sullivan, Sandra Sullivan, and Dora Sullivan; granddaughter, Marie Sullivan. Mrs. Sullivan was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited Friday, April 23, 1999, 7:00 p.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, April 24, 1999, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE, with Father Tom Zotter, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters and great-granddaughters. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eucharistic Chapel at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE, 87112. Friends may visit St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Thursday, 6:30 p.m. until rosary.
