Obituary for White

John B. White, born December 29, 1914 in St. Marys, West Virginia, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died April 9, 1999, in the loving arms of his family at his home. White served five years and ten days in World War II, stationed in London, England. While there, he served with the US Air Force's 303rd Bomber Group as chief mechanical inspector, and also served as chauffeur for USO entertainers, where he met the top talent of the day. Upon his return from the war, White served as a salesman for an electrical firm, and then as a realtor until his retirement. White is survived by his beloved wife, Harriet Reymore White; three step-children, David Reymore of Roy, UT, Ruth Harris of Tucson, AZ, and Kathryn Reymore of Ruidoso, NM; and eight step-grandchildren, Kevin, Brendan, and Erin Doherty, Meghan Armenta, Shawn and Alison Von Dreele, William Reymore and Ashley Cloud. A memorial service will be given by Pastor Charles Price at Saint John's United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona NE, Wednesday, April 14, at 2:30 p.m.
