Obituary for Mulvaney

Edith Estancia Bagwell Mulvaney left us Saturday night, April 10, 1999 at the age of 94. Edith was born on July 22, 1904 in the last land rush of the Oklahoma Territory. A resident of Albuquerque since 1924, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother of a large clan, she was famous among her friends and loved ones for her poetry, paintings, dill pickles, ice tea, fried chicken, biscuits and chocolate pie. Mrs. Mulvaney is survived by a daughter Colleen Joseph and husband, Gerald Joseph; son, Richard Keith Mulvaney and wife, Barbara Jean Mulvaney; daughter, Edith Karen Reese Chavez; 18 grandchildren including: Geneie Everett, Joe Everett, Geri Everett, Janet Everett, Joy Ann Bowen, Brenda Hardy, Sondra Harbaugh, Stephanie Dorhmann, Kevin Bowen, Ronald K. Mulvaney, Desiree Val, Michael Walker, Gail Walker Reese, Bob Busse, Lynda Busse, Kelly Wood, Shaune Reese, Pat Reese; 25 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Mulvaney and daughter, Edna Busse. She will be remember by her generosity, her tenderness, her poetry, her love of family and her unfailing faith. Services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14th, followed by graveside services at the family plot.
