Obituary for Edghill

Fermina Edghill, 80, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 15 years, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 1999. Fermina was born July 7, 1918 in the Republic of Panama, the daughter of Cornelius R. and Marie Philomene Evans. A member of the Felician Sisters, Lovelace Volunteers, New York Club, Democratic Club, Lions Club, and the St. Thomas Aquinas Choir. She is survived by her husband, Merton L. Edghill of Rio Rancho; one daughter, Marjorie Moore of Queens, NY; one sister, Ines Wetherbone of the Republic of Panama; three brothers, Kin Kerd Evans of the Republic of Panama, Hubert Evans of Costa Rica, and John Evans of New York; three grandchildren, Milton Roberts, Andre Roberts, and Binca Moore; many nieces and nephews; and cousins and many caring friends in the US and abroad. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 15, 1999, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, with the Mass of Resurrection on Friday, April 16, 1999, 10:30 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church with Msgr. Douglas Raun as the Celebrant. Entombment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho.
