Obituary for Parkinson

Warren C. Parkinson, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away at Wilford Hall Medical Center, San Antonio, TX on Wednesday, April 7, 1999. He was born in Chicago, IL on July 31, 1924 and is survived by his loving wife, Elfriede, of 36 years. He retired from Kirtland AFB Civil Service in 1985. He was a veteran of WWII and Korea and served a total of 41 years, including the Air Force Reserve. He retired with the rank of Colonel in 1984. He was a member of Faulkner Memorial Lodge #91, AF & AM of Virginia, Zia Daylight Lodge #77, Scottish Rite and Ballut Abyad Temple of Albuquerque. He was also a member of the New Mexico Civil Air Patrol. Funeral services will be held at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors and at the Protestant Chapel of Air Force Village I, San Antonio, TX.
