Virginia Mae Bowman Moore, born May 2, 1917 in Goldthwaite, TX, died April 5, 1999 in Lovelace Hospital, Albuquerque. She is survived by her husband, Jason P. Moore, whom she married August 24, 1940; daughter, Laura Marjorie Moore Shaefer and husband, Harry; son, Jon Lawrence Moore and wife, Leigh; daughter, Virginia Elizabeth Moore and husband, Arnold Buzzard; son, Jason Henry Moore and wife, Carolyn; brother, John Bowman and wife, Billie of San Angelo, TX. She is also survived by three grandsons; five granddaughters; one great-grandson; and two great-granddaughters. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 9, 1999, at Central United Methodist Church, 1615 Copper NE. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CUMC organ fund, 1615 Copper NE, NM. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Park. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, in charge of arrangements.
