Angeline Flora Allen passed away on November 9, 1998. She is survived by her husband, Winton E. Allen; two daughters, Judith Simmons and Adrianne Herring; and a son, Winton E. Allen Jr. Mrs. Allen had nine grandchildren, Robert Simmons, Roderick Simmons, Kenneth Simmons, Andrew Simmons, Jennifer Simmons, Liane Blake, Lauren MacQuarrie, Kristina Jennings, Jason Allen; and seven great-grandchildren. Survivors also include her sister, Paula Schultz, Margaret Brooks, Sylvia Hernandez; sister-in-law, Josephine Hernandez; and many nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of Jose E. Hernandez and Martina Lucero Hernandez, and was born in Bernalillo on September 27, 1914. She married Winton Allen in 1938, and for many years lived away, returning to New Mexico in 1982. The memorial service for Mrs. Allen will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 10, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church in Paradise Hills. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, are in charge of arrangements.
