Katie Agnes Blea, age 70, passed away at her home after an illness. She is preceded in death by her husband George Blea and daughter Karen Sue Jiwani. She is survived by son, Gary A. Blea and wife, Ruth; son-in-law, Iqabal Jiwani and wife, Sainaz; grandchildren, Gregory A. Blea, Yasmin Jiwani, Karim Jiwani; family and friends, Richard and Frances Baldonado family, Bob and Lori Rogers, Delbert Shultz. Mrs. Blea was the treasurer of the Women's Guild at Our Lady of Fatima Church, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She also enjoyed many hobbies including crocheting and knitting. The rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Thursday and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to the Women's Guild at Our Lady of Fatima Church. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery with Delbert Shultz, Dan Salazar, Bob Rogers, Frank Salazar, Richard Baldonado, Fred Akiya, MD serving as casketbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Rupert Tafoya, Alan Mock, Randy Salazar, Patrick Candelaria, Ross Lopez, Rick Baldonado. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE, in charge of arrangements.
