Wyett H. McGinnis, 66, a resident of Albuquerque since 1960, died Saturday, May 1, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Virginia Lee of the family home; sons, David W. McGinnis and Thomas J. McGinnis III and wife, Susan, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Rachelle, Ryan and Tommy IV McGinnis. Mr. McGinnis was a school teacher for 32 years and taught 25 years in Albuquerque. He was a sociology teacher, head football and wrestling coach at Del Norte High School. He was also owner of McGinnis School of Driving school for 35 years. Mr. McGinnis was a member of Montgomery Place Church of God and a loving husband, father and grandfather. Services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at Montgomery Place Church of God, 3601 Montgomery Blvd. NE, with Rev. Wesley S. Butler and Rev. W. Earl Patrick officiating. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
