C De Maria Tomasita C de Baca, age 87, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died May 4, 1999. She is survived by her daughters, Holly Hayden and husband, Robert of Albuquerque, Jeanne Hunter of Edgewood, Irene Skipworth of Roswell; son, Eric C de Baca and wife, Rosina of Plano, TX; sister, Lala Duran of Albuquerque; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ermino C de Baca. She was a member of Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 6, 1999 in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 7, 1999 at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church with Father Albert Podvin as Celebrant. Andres Martinez, Robert Hayden, Steve Cobos, Rudy Duran, Mardo Martinez and Larry Leathers will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Santa Fe National Cemetery. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, in charge of arrangements.
