Louise D. Yates died on Sunday afternoon, December 5, 1999. She was the mother of three sons, Fred G. Yates, and George M. Yates, both of Roswell, and Harvey Yates, Jr. of Albuquerque. In addition to her three sons, she is survived by one brother, Roy Davidson, of Raton, New Mexico. She was predeceased by two other brothers, Earl Davidson of Santa Fe, and Bill Davidson of Carlsbad. Louise lived most of her adult life in Artesia, though she had resided for the last seven months in Albuquerque where she died. There will be memorial services in both Albuquerque and Artesia though those arrangements are pending and will be announced once made.
