Marjorie Cox Miller, 88, born in Pittsburgh, KA, previously of Port Arthur and Houston, TX, a longtime resident of Belen, NM, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 1999. She was a member of The First United Methodist Church of Belen; a life member of the Women's Society of Christian Service, and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Marjorie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edgar Lynn Miller and her first husband, Johnathon S. Cox; her parents, David and Ted Sanders. She is survived by her two children, Marjorie Joan Chrismer of Atlanta, GA and William Jim Cox and his wife, Barbara of Canberra, ACT, Australia; ten grandchildren, Richard, Joan Ellen, David, Jonathan, Scott, Teresa, Karen, Karner, James; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Billie Tucker Kestler and her husband, Jack of Houston, TX, Davette Pieron of Port Arthur, TX; two very special friends, Gail Cox and Jeep Gaston; Marjorie is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Belen. A Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Belen. A gravesite service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale Garden Cemetery in Houston, TX.
