Obituary for Rippberger

Ruth M. Rippberger, 82, passed away on December 3, 1999 after a protracted illness. She was born in Wichita Falls, TX and lived in many places in the USA, Canada, Europe and Africa before becoming a permanent resident of Albuquerque in 1980. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, C.C. Rippberger; five children, C.M. Rippberger, MD, of Sharon, MA, Victoria Johnston of La Paz, Bolivia, Ada Rippberger of Albuquerque, Dee Hallock of Corvallis, MT, Maurine Hulslander of Everett, MA; fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She graduated from the Gordon Keller School of Nursing, Tampa, FL in 1940 and served a short term in the Army Nurse Corps, which ended with her marriage in 1941. She was a Past Worthy Matron in the OES, and was an active member of the Mended Hearts Association. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, December 9, 1999, 3:00 p.m. at Fitzgerad & Son Mortuary, 3113 Carlisle NE. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Presbyterian Kaseman Hospice, 8300 Constitution NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
