Mary Helen Garcia of Grants, New Mexico, was born June 1, 1940 in San Jose, New Mexico and passed away December 2, 1999. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Delfino and Ydalia Sabedra and brothers, Eusebio and Sisto Saavedra. Mary Helen is survived by her husband, Claudio B. Garcia of Grants, NM; sons, Eugene, Clyde, and Jay Garcia; daughters, Becky Chavez, and Geraldine Gonzales; brothers, Victor, Gilbert, and Jacob Saavedra; sisters, Irene Saavedra, Rosita Saavedra, and Nora Jaramillo. A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Outreach Church, 2900 Southern Blvd., Rio Rancho, NM at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 1999.
