Rex Kenneth Taylor, 92, passed away Thursday, December 2, 1999, in Albuquerque. Rex was born on December 18, 1906 in Raton, New Mexico, to James Taylor and Lottie Howe, a pioneer family of New Mexico. Rex moved to Albuquerque in 1945 from Raton and retired from the Santa Fe railroad in 1972 after 30 years of service. Rex is survived by his beloved wife, Elsie of 61 years; daughters, Nanci Easley and her husband, Bill, Pat Morgan and husband, Jim, both of Albuquerque, Carol Blazick and husband, Richard of Green Valley, AZ; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all of his family. A memorial service will be held today in the chapel of Rio Rancho Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Innichement will take place at a later date at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
