Obituary for Doyon

Mike Doyon, 51, following a long illness, died at home of Saturday, November 27, 1999. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Alfred Doyon and Mary M. Doyon, respectively. He is survived by his wife, Amelia Lopez Doyon; and son and best friend, Marcos; and daughter, his pumpkin, Nichole; along with his sisters, Susan Ballard and Patricia Doyon, both of Manchester, NH. Also surviving is his step-mother, Lorraine. Mike was born in Manchester, NH, and went to school there, graduating in 1966. Following, he enlisted in the US Army, and after serving four years, he was honorably discharged. Shortly afterwards, he moved to Albuquerque, where he enrolled and graduated from the University of New Mexico. After working in New Mexico for many years as a purchasing manager, his company relocated him to Sugarland, Texas, where he continued his job and resided with his family until he passed away. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the name of Mike Doyon, at the Church of the Risen Savior at 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, in Albuquerque, this morning at 9:00 a.m. Interment to follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:00 noon. Pallbearers will be George Lopez, David Griego, Michael Sanchez, James Lopez, Dennis Branch Jr., Steve Griego, Roger Ballard, and Mike Griego. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Lopez, Dan Lopez, Robert Lopez, Andrew Lopez, Horacio Lopez, Boni Lopez, Joe Lopez, Serafin Padilla, Max Griego, and Dennis Branch Sr. Services to be entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th St. NW, Gary F. Santillanes, C.F.S.P.
