Donald Gallegos Diaz, 44, a resident of Hurley, New Mexico, passed away September 3, 2003. He is survived by his children, Amanda Mendoza-Diaz, and Alyssa Borrego-Diaz; grandson, Matias Diaz-Marquez; brother, Johnnie G. Diaz; sisters, Rosella Diaz, Hopi Diaz -Rodriguez and Gloria Diaz-Herron; three nephews and seven nieces and many other relatives and friends. Everyone who had the pleasure to know him, loved him and will miss him very much. He was a Free Spirit. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 10, 2003, 10:00 a.m., at the Mt. Calvary Mausoleum Chapel, 1900 Edith Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Billy Diaz-Herron, Samuel Diaz-Herron, Nick Montano, Tommy Rodriguez, Bobby Gallegos and Raul Escobar.
