Christopher Michael, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, was called home by his Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 14, 2000. Chris was born October 28, 1962 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. A resident of New Mexico since 1975, and most recently from Phoenix, AZ, died unexpectedly at his home at the age of 37. He is survived by his beloved mother, Carolyn Mitchell Gallegos and husband, Joseph D. Gallegos from Albuquerque; his father, Donald M. Hathaway and wife, Theresa Martinez-Hathaway from Los Lunas; one sister, Donna Marie Hathaway; one step-brother, Ronald M. Gallegos and wife, Melissa Gallegos from Albuquerque; step-sister, Autumn Pierce from Studio City, CA; half-sister, Shara-Lynn Hathaway from Seattle, WA; nephews, Randall R. Lobato and Aaron M. Gallegos from Albuquerque; grandfather, Merle L. Hathaway from Okeechobee, FL; uncles and aunts, Jack and Joyce Mitchell, Enterprise, AL, Charles and Velora Baxter, and William and Dawn Hathaway from Okeechobee, FL; close and personal friend, Karen Harris from Phoenix, AZ; close friend, Antonio Lobato from Albuquerque; and many other close relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at Rio Rancho Funeral Home, 2400 Southern Blvd. SE on Saturday, October 21, 2000 at 2:30 p.m.
