Obituary for Ruff

Walter J. Ruff, 68, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died Monday, October 16, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Suzanne Ruff of Albuquerque; daughters, Cheri Ruff of Denver, CO, and Jeanne Robinson and husband, James of Albuquerque; son, Ricardo Ruff of Albuquerque; and grandsons, Shane and Cody. Mr. Ruff served in the Air Force during the Korean conflict and retired after serving his country for 20 years. He was a member of the DAV, VFW, NCOA, and the American Legion. Mr. Ruff was the man who could make everybody laugh. Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 20, 2000, 8:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, Phoenix & Vermont, with Father Ronald Bruckner, Celebrant. Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 8:00 a.m. until time of mass.
