Ernestina V. Armijo, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away October 17, 2000. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur B. Armijo; and her grandson, Antonio M. Armijo. She is survived by her mother, Guadalupe Vallejo; her son, Arthur B. Armijo, Jr.; her daughters, Elizabeth Sanchez, Louisa Terrazas and Emily Zamora; sons-in-law, John Sanchez, Victor Terrazas and Jose Zamora; grandchildren, John A. Sanchez, Alfredo Zamora, Dinorah Zamora, Bello Sanchez, Maricela Zamora, Monica Armijo-Terrazas and Victor Armijo-Terrazas; one great-grandchild, Marissa Zamora; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will take place at Palm Chapel at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 19, 2000. A graveside service will follow on Friday, October 20, 2000, 2:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Strong-Thorne Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
