His leadership as a manager for over 50 years lead to numerous team championships in both baseball and softball. Victor continued to contribute to the Barelas community throughout his life, whether it was by coaching the local ball club or helping the community center with their weekly bingo games, he never stopped giving. Victor dedicated his life to bringing happiness to everyone that touched his life. He was the kind of man who would bring out the good in everyone. From the ball players that he spent so much of his life coaching to his family members whom he always showed his full support, he was the man who made us feel special.
