Obituary for White

Robert Lee White age 81, was born October 13, 1919 in Raton, New Mexico died December 16, 2000. When asked recently, Bob said that his proudest accomplishment in life was when he met and married Dorothey Mae Williams, November 19, 1939 and the family that marriage produced all of whom survive: son Bob Jr. & wife, Ralinda and three children: R. Lee White III & wife, Gretchen, Jim White, and Annisa and husband, Michael Jones; son, Don White and two daughters, Melissa and husband, Bruce Green, and Sarah and husband, Bill Riesebeck; daughter, Karen White and two sons: Mykel Schrameck, and Tyler Schrameck and wife Kay; and four great-grandchildren: Aidan, Ryley, and Samuel White and Pierce Green. Bob and Dorothy moved to Albuquerque in 1944 and were charter members of Trinity Methodist Church. He spent 30 years working for Santa Fe Railroad during which time he and Dot started and operated Manpower Inc of Albuquerque for 22 years. His Masonic affiliations were Temple 6, AF&AM, York and Scottish Rite bodies, Ballut Abyad Shrine, Band, and with Dot, Adah Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. There was cremation. Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2000 at Mason Temple Lodge #6 at 3801 Osuna Rd. NE. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Adah Chapter #5, OES, 3801 Osuna Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109; the Ballut Abyad Shrine Transportation Fund, 6600 Zuni SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108; or charity of choice. .DMP
