Obituary for Carolus

Lt. Col. Howard E. Carolus, US Air Force, retired, 66, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died on Friday, December 15, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Cordelia V. Carolus; sons, Robert V. Carolus and wife, Lynn of Parker, CO, William Ryan Carolus and wife, Cherri of Albuquerque, Steven H. Carolus and wife, Stacey of Oveida, FL; grandchildren, Kyndal, Cameron, Chance, Daniel, Kimberly, Spenser and Stevie; sisters; Jeanne Spears of Indianapolis, IN and Winnifred Mawhorr and husband, Roger of Lima, Ohio. Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lillian Carolus and Florence Carolus and beloved sister, Babe. He served in the US Air Force before retiring as a Lt. Col. Howard was a proud member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and enjoyed playing golf at Tanoan Country Club. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, December 18, 2000, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. N.E. A Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 12500 Carmel NE. with Father Antonio Mondragon, officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit on Monday from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel 7121 Wyoming Blvd. N.E.
