Obituary for Moore

Carolyn Y. Moore, 44, beloved wife, mother and daughter and a resident of Los Alamos since 1990, died peacefully at her home on December 9, 2000. She was born September 13, 1856 in ALbuquerque to Ernie Marable and Erma Anderson. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernie Marable in 1990. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Jason H. Moore; her two daughters, Mandy M. Moore, and Mindy S. and her husband, Davy J. Sparks; and her granddaughter, Haleigh M. Sparks, all of Los Alamos; her mother, Erma and her husband"Pop" Charlie Anderson; her sisters, Debbie Emrich of Arizona, and Susies Herrera of Albuquerque; and her brother Ernie Marable Jr., also of Arizona. Carolyn's family was the most important thing to her. She always took great care of us. She had a great loved for writing, poetry, music, and flowers. She took care of anyone who needed her help. She did this for many people and changed many lives with her great love. She will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 13, 2000 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in Palm Chapel at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE. A funeral service will be performed on Thursday, December 14th at 6:00 pm, also in Palm Chapel. Interment will follow on Friday, December 15, 2000 at 11:00 am at Guaje Pines Cemetery in Los Alamos, with Father Jom Tracey officiating. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
