Obituary for Vigil

Rosina O. Vigil, 71, a resident of Grants, NM since 1960, died Thursday, December 7, 2000 in Albuquerque. Rosina was born December 28, 1928 the daughter of Abalino and Adela Marie Lopez Ortiz in Santa Fe, NM. she was preceded in death by her husband, Ricardo Vigil in 1991, and her son, Wilfred Trujillo in 1982. Rosina is survived by two sons, Richard O. Vigil and Johnny D. Vigil of Grants; four daughters, Patricia V. Sena and Gloria A. Vigil of Albuquerque, and Virginia Salazar and Denise Salazar of Grants; her brother, Francisco A. Ortiz of Chimayo; 12 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. A rosary for Mrs. Vigil will be recited on Sunday, December 10, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 11, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Rio Rancho. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the National Cemetery in Santa Fe. Pallbearers will be John Sena, Willie Salazar, Eric Camden, George Sanchez, Jarrett Slatton, and Richard A. Vigil III. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Sena, Joe Rodriguez, Wray Ortiz, Raymond Martinez and Tony Rogen. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho.
