Anthony Ray (Tony) Acosta, 30, was called home to be with the Lord our Savior, Thursday, December 7, 2000. Tony was born on December 20, 1969 in Albuquerque to Rudy and Petra Acosta. He was the youngest of seven children. He leaves behind his fiance, Genevieve; and three sons, James, Patrick, and Anthony Jr. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Frank Acosta and wife, Anna, Patsy Reed and husband, Mike, Raymond Acosta and wife, Irene, George Acosta and wife, Jennifer, Leroy Acosta and his children, Joann Acosta and children; 18 nephews and nieces; and other relatives and friends. Visitations will be today from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A rosary will be recited this evening at 6:00 p.m. at San Ysidro Church in Corrales. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at the Corrales Cemetery. Casket bearers will be James Chavez, Daniel Acosta, Amber Reed, Sean Acosta, George Acosta Jr., Leroy Acosta Jr. and Francesca Gonzales. Services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth Street N.W., 898-3160.
