Connie Laura Roberts, 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1982 and a former longtime resident of Pampa, TX, died Saturday, January 22, 2000. She is survived by her granddaughters, Connie Muniz and husband, Michael of Albuquerque and Susan Carl and husband, Jeff of Santa Rosa, CA; three great-grandchildren; and four great-great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Marion Roberts; daughter, June Murtha; and grandson, Earl L. Murtha Jr. Mrs. Roberts was a member of First Baptist Church in Albuquerque and First Baptist Church, Pampa, TX. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Pampa, TX for over 50 years. Graveside services will be held Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, TX, with Rev. John N. Glover officiating. The Pampa Chapter 365, O.E.S., will conduct the Order of the Eastern Star Rites. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming NE.
