Joclynn Renee Pacheco, infant daughter of Ricardo Pacheco and Yvonne Romero, passed away July 14, 2000, at an Albuquerque hospital as a result of an automobile accident. Joclynn was born April 27, 2000 in Las Vegas, NM. She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandfather, Alfonso Baca Sr.; maternal great-grandfather, Andalecio Romero; great-great-grandparents, Pete and Genoveva Pacheco and Eloisa Urioste; two uncles, Larry and Estevan Romero. Besides her parents, Joclynn is survived by her brother, Benito Romero of the family home in Puerto De Luna; her paternal grandparents, Rose Baca and husband, Ray Valverde, Paul Pacheco and wife, Angel, all of Santa Rosa; her maternal grandparents, Joe and Diana Romero of Puerto De Luna; great-grandparents, Delma Baca, Orlando and Josie Pacheco, all of Santa Rosa, Rita Romero of Tecolotito, NM, and Guadalupe Vasquez of Taft, TX; great-great-grandparents, Celstina Sisneros of Las Vegas, NM and Lucio and Arcelia Abeyta of Santa Rosa; uncles and aunts, Joe and Monique Romero of San Diego, CA, ShaDonna Romero and Andy Romero of Puerto De Luna, Melissa Pacheco, Leslie Pacheco and fiance, Joe Herrera and Raelyn Valverde, all of Santa Rosa; her Godparents, Joseph Baca and Joyce Sandoval. Also surviving are numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of relatives and friends. Mass of the Angels will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 a.m. from St. Rose of Lima Church in Santa Rosa with Father Stephen Schultz officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Santa Rosa. Serving as pallbearers are Joseph Baca, Joe Romero, Andy Romero, Jeremy Garcia, Leonard Vasquez and Remegio Baca. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Diego Herrera, Marcus Romero and Baby Joe Garcia. All services are entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home, 923 South 3rd St., Santa Rosa, NM, (505) 472-3369.
