Daniel R. Joyce, 63, passed away July 11, 2000. Formerly of Tarentum, PA, he graduated from Tarentum High School in 1954. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1954 and retired from active duty in 1975. He was in the Fleet Reserve in Albuquerque and a member of the American Legion Post #49. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel A. and Orpha L. (Grant) Joyce; brothers, David Grant Joyce and John Patrick Joyce; sister, Mrs. Thomas (Helen) Stabile. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Johanna Brower Joyce; three sisters, Mrs. John (Mary Ann) Jankowski of Tarentum, PA, Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Sherwood of El Paso, TX and Mrs. Robert (Elizabeth) Montoya of Freemont, CA; and numerous loving nieces and nephews who loved and will miss him. A graveside service will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery with full Military Honors at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 17, 2000.
