Obituary for Salazar

Mrs. Avelina Salazar, 71, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on July 8, 2000. Mrs. Salazar was the beloved wife of 48 years to Mr. Alfonso Salazar. She is also survived by three daughters, Emily Marez and husband, Eugene, Clara Bullis and husband, Arnie and Sylvia Candelaria; two sisters, Josie Quintana and husband, Adolfo and Claudia Rivera and husband, Arturo; one brothers, Johnny Bustamante and wife, Eleanor; nine grandchildren, Jaime, Vincente and Daniel Marez, Marcuss, Breanna and Presston Bullis, Tomas, Patrick and Julian Candelaria; two great-grandchildren, Mercedes and Carlissa Marez; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Salazar was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness. A Funeral service will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, with Joe Quintana, Elder. Friends may visit after 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jaime Marez, Vincente Marez, Daniel Marez, Marcuss Bullis, Presston Bullis, Tomas Candelaria, Patrick Candelaria and Julian Candelaria. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
