Obituary for Rarrick

Billie K. (Garrison) Rarrick died Saturday, July 8, 2000 after a long battle with lung cancer. She was born in Las Animas, CO, on May 29, 1929. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Harold; her daughter, Susan and husband, James Herrera; sons, David and wife, Patricia, Mark, and Shawn and wife, Kimberly; grandsons, James K. Herrera and wife, Colleen and Jason Tucker and wife, Renee; granddaughters, Rachel Herrera, Samantha and Christine Rarrick; great-grandsons, Jacob Herrera and Brandon Tucker, all of Albuquerque; her mother, Maxine Garrison; brother, Charles Garrison and wife, Karen; and sister, Janice Aubert and husband, Ray; brother-in-law, Richard Rarrick and wife, Maxine, all of Oklahoma; and sister-in-law, Beverly Holland of Gulfport, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews. Billie had been a member of the Sanado Club, the Octo Viejo Bridge Club and several bowling trips. She was a dedicated wife, mother and friend. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, traveling - particularly cruises and her trips to Las Vegas and Laughlin, NV. She lived life pretty much on her terms. Services will be Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming NE, with Rev. Milton Propp, officiating. Contributions may be made in her name to the Humane Animal Association of NM, 615 Virginia SE 87108 or to the American Cancer Society, 5800 Lomas NE 87110.
