Shirley Carol (Gonzales) Abeyta has gone home to our Lord on Wednesday, February 23, 2000 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is survived by her husband, Sisto Abeyta; daughters, Valerie and Amanda Garcia; three stepsons, Lawrence, Michael and Chris; one stepdaughter, Debbie; and seven grandsons; one brother, Horace Gonzales; four sisters, Mercy Martinez, Carmen and Dean Gonzales, Susie and Joe Trujillo, Martha and Andy Tafoya; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, sister and brother and grandparents and one nephew and one granddaughter. Rosary to be held Sunday, February 27, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 28, 2000 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Mildred NW, Albuquerque, NM with interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny, Tony, Andrew, Joey, Damien, Chris and Andy.
