Obituary for Springer

Margaret J. Springer, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1994 and a former resident of Los Angeles, CA, died Monday, February 21, 2000. She is survived by her husband, Bob Springer of Albuquerque; son, Robert Springer and wife, Ruth of Los Alamos; and grandchildren, Bobby Springer and wife, Amy, Michael Springer and Anne Springer. Margaret served during WWII as a Nurse in the U.S. Army with the 37th General Hospital, in North Africa and Italy. In California, she was a volunteer for the American Red Cross, active in St. Alban's Episcopal Church and worked as a volunteer precinct worker for California elections. Services will be held Friday, 10:00 a.m., at St. Chad's Episcopal Church, 7171 Tennyson NE, with Rector Stephen R. Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
