Amelia Bower, 102, a resident of Albuquerque since 1978 years, died Tuesday, February 22, 2000. She is survived by her sisters, Thelma Cornet of Lancaster, PA and Carmel Moore; brother, Timothy Sanchez, both of San Mateo, CA; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Bower was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Bower. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, 7:30 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Deacon Bob Lewis reciting. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 11:30 a.m., at Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with Father Richard Olona, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Sanchez, Charles Sanchez, Louis Sanchez, Arthur Durand, Eloy Candelaria and Donald Erickson. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
