Alex A. Morgan, 79, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on February 18, 2000. He is survived by his loving wife, Esther Morgan; son, Alex W. Morgan and wife, Martha of Albuquerque; daughters, Peggy Blancherd and husband, Mike of Anchorage, AK and Mary Stanbury and husband, Ravi of San Jose, CA; five grandchildren, Pam, Monica, Cynthia, Alex Jr. and DeAndra; and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Morgan was a Man Power Specialist at the New Mexico Department of Labor before his retirement and had served with the Albuquerque Police Department for five years. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated this morning, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Parish. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Trujillo, Tony Astorga, Leon Cruz, Paul Cruz, Dan Incinias, and Robert Garcia. Services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th Street, Gary F. Santillanes, C.F.S.P.
