Obituary for Byron

Ana Luisa (Bayron) Byron, 86, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past seven years, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2000. Ana Luisa was born September 5, 1913, the daughter of Ramon Bayron and Magdalena Bayron-Cruz in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. She retired after 32 years from the garment district in New York City. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Ana Luisa Gautier-Bayron; four brothers; and one sister. Ana Luisa is survived by her loving sister, Aurea Virgin Encarnacion-Cruz; nieces, Edmee Julia Encarnacion-Bayron, Mary Madeleine Newman and husband, Michael, Carmen Luisa DeJesus, Gladys DeJesus; nephews, Ramon Enrique Encarnacion-Bayron, Rafael Bayron; grandniece, Mercedes Elena Hernandez; grandnephew, Michael David Newman; great-grandnieces, Cristianne Aurin and Kheisla Edmee Jordan; and many wonderful and caring family and friends in Puerto Rico, Rio Rancho, New York, and Florida. A very special thank you to Ethelanne Mayer and the Mayer family. A special thank you to Hung Quan, MD, Geri Kennedy, Jackie Miller, Dee Miller, Erlinda Mendez, Edna Bachicha, Dan Smith, and all the staff at Rio Rancho Nursing Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 23, 2000, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd., at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho. A second visitation will be held Thursday, February 24, 2000, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the service at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary. Entombment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary.
