Obituary for Waite

Milton Waite, 80, a resident of Bernalillo passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2000. Milton was born on May 1, 1920 the son of Donald G. and Olive Mae France Waite in Meshoppen, Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Sayre High School of Pennsylvania in 1938. Milton served in the US Army Air Corps during WW II, he was a navigator on a B-24 Bomber. He was a prisioner of war from December 1944 until May 1945. Milton was a draftsman with Sandia Laboratories before retiring. He is survived by his wife Shirley of Bernalillo, four children, Mark Waite of Edgewood, Scott Waite of Moriarty, Mickey Waite of Moriarty, and Mary Riggs of Bernalillo; ten Grandchildren; one brother, Dick Waite of Sayre, PA; three sisters, Shirley Reeves of Port Angeles, WA, Minnie Russell of Port Angeles, WA, and Hester Tyler of Ocala, FL. The Service for Milton will be held today, Friday, September 15, 2000 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln.,Rio Rancho with Pastor Talon Noh of the Mountain Valley Church of Edgewood officiating. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho. .DMP
