Obituary for Taylor

James Everette Taylor, 82, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, died Wednesday, September 13, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Clara E. Taylor of Albuquerque; daughters, Bonny Taylor March of Albuquerque and Ruth Harris and husband, Walter of Aurora, CO; son, James Taylor of California; nine grandchildren, Gene A. March, James T. March, both of Albuquerque, Jeffrey B. March of Seattle, WA, Melody March-Simpkin, Genea A. March, both of Albuquerque, Laura Taylor, Lanai Taylor, both of Indiana, Keith Gregory of Denver, CO and DeAnne Harris of Atlanta, GA; and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his son, Bruce Taylor. James and Clara E. Mulford were married in 1954 in Albuquerque. He was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Cedar Crest. Mr. Taylor retired from Sandia National Labs in 1983 after 32 years. Services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Calvary Lutheran Church in Carson City, MI, with Rev. John Raess and Rev. Kenneth Williamson officiating. Interment will take place at Spencer Cemetery in Ferris Township, MI. Pallbearers will be Gene March, James March, Genea March, Melody March-Simpkin and Dennis Prescott. Visitation will take place at Lux-Schnepp Funeral Home, 521 Main St., Crystal, MI, Sunday, 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hand Fund at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 12121 N Hwy 14, Cedar Crest, NM, 87008.
