Maxine Elisabeth Fisher, 79, a resident of Albuquerque for 40 years, died Saturday, September 9, 2000. She is survived by her husband, Martel J. Fisher of Albuquerque; son, Martel J. Fisher, Jr. and wife, Gisela of Redmond, OR; daughters, Marlowe J. Cata and husband, Al of Albuquerque, and Mary J. Barraclough and husband, Tim of Raton, NM; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. Mrs. Fisher was preceded in death by her daughter, Sister Martha J. Fisher; and grandson, Terah Fisher. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, September 13, 2000, 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School. Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. N. E. on Tuesday, September 12, 2000 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
